It's just, Gamp and Derwent were rowing with Bell and Robins out in the corridor after dinner and saying all sorts of things about the "house of traitors" and I don't even get on with Katie Bell cos she lured Page away from Padma, but...so I was well cross before I even saw what Zabini was saying.

I mean, I can't believe I'm even saying this, since I think Ron Weasley is a great mannerless git most of the time, but he is in my House and I think he ought to get some credit for showing our House virtues.

Loads of people (me included) were well impressed when Zabini and Malfoy saved us from that exploding podium, and no one suggested they were only doing it for the attention. Or at least, they didn't say it in the journals in front of everyone.

I spend time with you lot how often, a couple of hours a week? And we've got almost every class, and every meal, and every evening after curfew with our Housemates.

And just because it isn't every single hour of every single day, she gets shirty.
